'Point A' Training Warehouse Announced

Point A - The start of something...SAPA has been involved in the planning and organisation of a project to bring an indoor training space to the Adelaide CBD. The project eventually fell to the hands of SAPA Member Travis Ranson teaming up with some others to form a business to open the facility. SAPA will be renting space in the facility and filling it with Parkour and Freerunning equipment for use in classes, workshops and casual training. Similar training grounds run by Australian Parkour Association members are The Trace Facility in Melbourne and Jump Squad HQ in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity and we are eager for doors to open, which is estimated around the end of July. The facility will be called ‘Point A‘ – check out the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ADLPointA) and Website (www.PointA.com.au) for more information. Parkour and Freerunning won’t be the only activities in the facility, and we are excited to build our network in the community and give Parkour an official home in Adelaide.

If you are interested in arranging for your school or organisation to visit the facility for some workshops and Parkour teaching, please contact us and we can discuss all the possibilities.
