Class start times for 2016 & January update

Just a quick update to keep everyone in the loop. The majority of our classes will be starting in February, hopefully the first week or two.

We’re taking the rest of January off for a handful of reasons:

  1. We’re running instructors through the new Australian Parkour Association qualifications, and this is quite time intensive for our whole team (the physical testing alone is a 6hr session!)
  2. We’re having a bunch of friends over for a bit of an event/jam at the end of January, and are preparing for that.
  3. We’ve finally received the (very sad but long awaited) news about the date that the Adelaide Festival Centre site will be demolished – right after the Adelaide Festival/Fringe in a few months. This makes January our last chance to train at the iconic spot and birthplace of Adelaide Parkour.. We’re working to be involved in farewell events running end of January.
  4. We’re doing a bunch of holiday workshops at places like the Blackwood Recreation Centre, for Onkaparinga Council, and a few other private ones.
  5. If we have any spare time, getting squared up to finally run kid’s classes in Point A.

Stay tuned on Facebook for announcements on all of the above.

If you’re interested in our Fundamentals course at Point A when it starts up, send us an email. There’s already a bit of a waiting list and we’ll let you all know when enrolment opens.
